Holland Hotel - Duluth

The Holland Hotel was located in Downtown Duluth at Fifth Avenue West and Superior Street. It was build by S. I. Levine of Duluth with G. Goldberg and I. Goldberg from Chicago. The hotel was opened in 1910 and sold to a larger hotel company in 1920 for about a half million dollars. More about the hotel is provided in the images below and at the news article links provided.

It is not clear if S. I. Levine is part of the Levine family included in Jack's Family Tree Database.

1920-9-1 S. I. Levine Holland hotel - - 1920-9-1 Newcombs Buy Holland Hotel. Deal Closed for Transfer of Hostelry at Considereation Near Half Million Dollars. Proprietors of Spalding hotel. S. I. Levine built hotel in 1910.
